Rowan Scottish Tweed yarns have been created using all the traditional
spinning and dyeing techniques made famous by Harris Tweed cloth,
ensuring a quality and depth of colour in a pure wool yarn created
just for hand knits.

Photographed
on the Isle of Harris and other locations in Scotland, this
book contains 15 designs reflecting the textile tweed traditions
of the Western Isles, but with a contemporary twist. The 4
Ply patterns, include an evening top, a shawl and a cropped
cardigan, while the Aran collection contains a man's gansey,
two multi-coloured jackcts and a herringbone skirt. Chunky
Tweed patterns include a beach coat and a man's jumper and
jacket- and the DK patterns consist of a jumper, a dress and
several jackets.
