| Making A Purchase Making a purchase is easy. Just browse our Online Store and add any items that you wish to buy to the "Shopping Cart". After you have finished your selections, go to the "Checkout" section. You will then be asked a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.Payment may be made by credit card (Visa, Visa Electron, or Mastercard), or debit card (Solo or Visa/Delta). Your credit/debit card information is sent SECURELY over the Internet. You can also phone your orders through to our retail shop, Shoreham Knitting & Needlecraft or our customer care department at English Yarns and give your order and credit/debit card information over the telephone. |
| Shipping And Handling We always try to send your ordered items the most economical and secure way depending on the weight, size and value of the parcel, and any special delivery instructions you may have. The cost depends on the delivery location and the class (e.g. airmail or surface mail). If the total weight or size of your order lies outside the weight, size or insurance range for a particular class, we will split the items into more than one package. SHIPPING CHARGES ARE TAX-FREE FOR ORDERS CONTAINING ONLY BOOKS AND/OR MAGAZINES - THIS APPLIES TO ALL DELIVERY ADDRESSES, EVEN THE UNITED KINGDOM. |
| Delivery Schedule We will normally dispatch your order to you on the same day as receiving it by First Class post in the UK and Priority Airmail to all countries outside the UK. AIRMAIL deliveries usually arrive within 7 business days. INTERNATIONAL SURFACE MAIL deliveries can take up to 60 calendar days and are not covered by insurance. |
| Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. We reserve the right to increase prices including back orders without prior notice due to circumstances beyond our control. |
| Tax Charges All yarn prices stated include VAT (Value Added Tax) at 20%. ORDERS FOR DELIVERY OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION ARE TAX-FREE. Magazines and books are exempt from VAT for everyone. Company VAT Registration Number: 883 9388 56. |

| Returns Policy If you receive your order and the yarn is not what you expected, we are happy to refund or exchange provided you notify us in writing immediately that you wish to return it. For customers within the EU who request a refund within 7 working days of receipt we will also refund the original shipping cost of sending the order to you. For all other refunds requested after 7 days and up to 30 days of receipt we will only refund the cost of the goods you are returning and not the original cost of sending the order to you. Postal charges on all returns to us are your responsibility. Please make sure that you obtain proof of postage in case you have to make a claim to your postal authorities for non-delivery to us. Please note that for copyright reasons, we cannot accept books and magazines back for credit or refund.Credit (not refund) is given for unused balls or skeins (current dye lots only) returned in perfect condition (there is no time limit on this). Your statutory rights are not affected. Please advise us in advance of any goods to be returned. The original invoice number must be quoted. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee, of 10%, on yarn returned to us. Please always keep ball bands in case of any quality control issues that may arise. |
