| Making A Purchase Making a purchase is easy. Just browse our Online Store and add any items that you wish to buy to the "Shopping Cart". After you have finished your selections, go to the "Checkout" section. You will then be asked a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.Payment may be made by credit card (Visa, Visa Electron, or Mastercard), or debit card (Maestro, Solo, or Delta). You may send your credit/debit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or SECURELY over the Internet.We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship with the exception of special orders not held in stock. Backordered items are charged at the time we process your main order.To all our USA customers: We have been advised by the US Authorities that Internet Purchases of knitting yarn sent from the UK to the USA below a value of 200 US dollars is not subject to import duty. Therefore inspite of the exchange rate it is still often cheaper to order your yarn direct from us in the UK. We send your order without any UK taxes and this usually pays for any shipping costs incurred by you.NOTE: When redeeming an English Yarns voucher please quote the voucher number in the 'Enter any special delivery instructions' section under Shipping and Handling. |
| Shipping And Handling We always try to send your ordered items the most economical and secure way depending on the weight and value of the parcel, and any special delivery instructions you may have. The cost depends on the delivery location and the class (eg. airmail or surface mail). If the total weight of your order lies outside the weight or insurance range for a particular class, we will split the items into more than one package. SHIPPING CHARGES ARE TAX-FREE FOR ORDERS CONTAINING ONLY BOOKS AND/OR MAGAZINES - THIS APPLIES TO ALL DELIVERY ADDRESSES, EVEN THE UNITED KINGDOM. |
| Delivery Schedule We will normally dispatch your order to you within 2 business days of the order date. AIRMAIL deliveries usually arrive within 7 business days. INTERNATIONAL SURFACE MAIL deliveries can take up to 60 calendar days. |
| Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. We reserve the right to increase prices including back orders without prior notice due to circumstances beyond our control. |

Please advise us in advance of any goods to be returned. The original invoice number must be quoted. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee, of 10%, on yarn returned to us. Please note that due to copyright reasons, we cannot accept books and magazines back for credit or refund. |
