The yarn is a standard DK weight but the handle is anything but standard. 		Alpaca Merino DK Overview: • Is a true DK tension when knitted on 4 ½ mm needles • Will knit to all past DK patterns using appropriate needles • Alpaca is naturally very warm and baby alpaca is warmer still. • Has a beautiful soft weightless handle • Alpaca is naturally hypo allergenic, and is not known to irritate any existing sensitivities • 105 meters for 25g ball which is the meterage of a 4ply • Soft stitch gives great finish in colourwork • A similar construction to the best selling Lima but in a DK weight that makes a lighter weight garment with more meterage
