30 Years of Rowan - English
Yarns Competition
On 15th August
2008 Rowan celebrated 30 years of age! Since 1978 this small Company
in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales grew and grew until it became
known throughout the world by every discerning knitter. Its links
with top designers such as Kim Hargreaves, Kaffe Fassett, Martin
Storey, and Erika Knight, to name a few, built it into one of the
most prestigious yarn companies of it type. Rowan’s unique
fashion and colour sense has continued to lead the knitting industry
in design and colour: Beautiful yarns that depict the English countryside.
We are proud
to have been associated with Rowan for over 25 years and are one
of their last remaining original stockists.
To celebrate
Rowan’s Anniversary, Rowan is holding a very special Exhibition
and Workshop
weekend on Friday 5th September - Sunday 7th September 2008. The
price for the workshop is £95.00 per person.
