NEW SPRING/SUMMER 2002 COLLECTION FROM ROWAN YARNS

New Magazine No.31
The Spring/Summer 2002 magazine number 31 includes over 40 designs from Kaffe Fasset, Kim Hargreaves, Sarah Dallas, Zoe Mellor, and others. It features the following yarns: 4 ply Cotton, Cotton Glace, Denim, Wool Cotton, Handknit DK Cotton, Lurex Shimmer, Linen Drape, Kidsilk Haze, and All Seasons Cotton. New Book - The Summer Tweed Collection
The Summer Tweed Collection features 14 designs from Kim Hargreaves using the new yarn for Spring/Summer 2002, Summer Tweed. See this link for more.

New Yarn - Summer Tweed
The new yarn for the Spring/Summer season is Summer Tweed. This is a blend of 70% silk & 30% cotton. 16 colours are available, ranging from naturals like oats, raffia and reed, to brights like exotic, nector, and morning glory. See this link for more.

NEW SPRING/SUMMER 2002 COLLECTION FROM JAEGER HANDKNITS

The Spring/Summer 2002 collection from Jaeger Handknits features a new Magazine (JM06), and 2 brochures featuring the season's new yarns: the JB11 Albany Brochure, and the JB12 Celeste Brochure.

The New Magazine from Jaeger Handknits - JM06
This season's magazine (JM06) is a collection of 20 designs for men and women featuring yarns from the Jaeger Double Knitting and 4 Ply ranges - including Aqua, Matchmaker Merino. New for the Spring/Summer season is Trinity, a silk and cotton mix in 14 shades, knitted on 4mm needles. See this link for more.

The Jaeger Handknits Albany Brochure - JB11
This brochure features a new Jaeger yarn for Spring/Summer 2002 - Albany. Commissioned to design all the garments in this collection, Amanda Griffiths has used the yarn in a highly individual way, combining modern silhouettes with slip stitch textures to produce 15 exciting handknit garments. The Brochure's photography is styled simply, with a young, modern editorial feel. Albany, a pure cotton tape yarn comes in 12 shades. Knitted on a 5mm needle, Albany has a light and airy feel. The Jaeger Handknits Celeste Brochure - JB12
For Spring/Summer 2002 this brochure features 10 designs using a new yarn, Celeste. Celeste is a ribbon yarn with a linen feel. It comes in 6 delicate summer shades. The garment range in this brochure includes 14 garments, developed using 2 different fabrics: a close-knitted fabric using a 9mm needle, and a lighter, more open fabric using 15mm needles. Photographed by rugged rocks with dynamic see views, this collection of simply styled sweaters, vests and cover-ups are both casual and easy to wear. See this link for more.
