Introduction

The new Autumn/Winter 2002/2003 season is here! Both Rowan and Jaeger have released great new yarns, magazines, and books for this new season.

 

NEW AUTUMN/WINTER 2002/2003 ROWAN YARNS SEASON

Three new Rowan books and magazines have been released for this season:

Magazine No. 32
The Rowan Yarns Autumn/Winter 2002/2003 magazine number 32 features over 40 designs from Kaffe Fasset, Kim Hargreaves, Sarah Dallas, Sasha Kagan, Jean Moss, Muir & Osborne, Sharon Peake, Brandon Mably, Carol Meldrum, and Leah Sutton. The magazine features most of the current Rowan yarn range, including the new yarn Cork, and an expanded 4 Ply Soft selection.

The Cork Collection
The Cork Collection features 14 designs from Kim Hargreaves using the new yarn for Autumn/Winter 2002/2003, Cork. Cork is a blend of 95% extra fine mreino wool, and 5% nylon, and is knitted on 8mm needles.

The Bigger Picture
Also new to this season is the Bigger Picture, a book featuring designs from Kim Hargreaves using Big Wool and Biggy Print. Both yarn ranges have been expanded with 2 new shades. The book contains 26 contemporary designs.


NEW AUTUMN/WINTER 2002/2003 JAEGER YARNS SEASON

The new Jaeger Yarns season introduces a new Magazine and a new brochure:

The Jaeger Handknits Magazine No. 8 (JM08)
JM08 includes 20 designs using Jaeger Alpaca, Silk, Matchmaker Merino DK, Chamonix, and a new yarn Luxury Tweed. The magazine contains fashion and editorial pieces, including 3 fashion stories.

The Jaeger Handknits JB14 Natural Fleece Brochure (JB14)
The Natural Fleece Brochure (JB14) features 12 designs by Martin Storey using Natural Fleece, a new yarn for Autumn/Winter 2002/2003. Natural Fleece, a marled and slubbed 100% wool chunky knit yarn is new for this season. Knitted on 9mm needles, the yarn has a length of 85 metres (93 yards) per 50g ball.

 

NEW DMC CROSS STITCH KITS FOR MAY AND JUNE 2002
DMC Creative World have introduced some new cross stitch collections under the May and June releases of their 2002-2003 catalogue.
ALL CROSS STITCH KITS ARE AVAILABLE FOR 10% LESS THAN THE LIST PRICE!
