Introduction
Rowan Yarns have released a new book called the Junior
Book containing over 35 designs for babies and children
up to twelve years of age. The book also features a new yarn
called 4 Ply Soft.
NEW
ROWAN YARN AND BOOK NOW AVAILABLE
The
new Junior Book from Rowan
Yarns has been designed exclusively by Kim Hargreaves.
The book
has an air of eccentricity, it combines individual garments
with quirky styling, all set against a very unusual location.
Containing over thirty five designs for babies and children
up to twelve years of age. There is an exciting mix of both
spring/summer and autumn/winter designs, making this a book
for all seasons. It includes abstract spots, funky stripes,
brightly coloured lace and flower corsages. There is an array
of accessories including a Dr Who scarf, a bag with flower
embellishment, Pom Pom hat and hot water bottle cover with
giant heart motif.
A new
yarn in the book is also featured - 4
Ply Soft - which is made from 100% merino wool and is
available in a range of 8 shades. The rrp per 50g ball is
£3.25 and it has a length of 175 metres (191 yards) per ball.
Other yarns used include 4 Ply Cotton, Handknit DK Cotton,
Denim, All Seasons Cotton, Polar, Kid Classic, Rowanspun DK
and Big Wool.

the 50th Anniversary of Her Majesty the Queen's Accession
