Debbie Abrahams - Shaded Squares Bag Kit - Coffee Cream

This is an intermediate project that mixes intarsia with textured moss (seed) stitch. The front panel is knitted in one piece, and consists of 24 textured and beaded squares. The back and side panels are striped on alternating bands of stocking (stockinet) stitch and garter stitch to create a textured fabric. Twenty-four buttons are sewn around the top edge of the bag after knitting to create a decorative border. The handle is knitted in moss (seed) stitch. Kit contains: Rowan Cotton Glace, small glass beads, smal buttons to decorate the bag, a piece of Kaffe Fassett Patchwork fabric for lining the bag, and full pattern instructions with charts. Finished measurements: approx. 28cm x 23cm (11" x 9")
